Though the pandemic caused most of our concerts to be canceled last year, that free time had an upside. Dan and I cleaned out the 3100 square foot house in Red Creek where he has lived for 35 years, and we lived for 20 years, and sold it! We found a great house in Lake Clear just 10 minutes from Saranac Lake. We bought the new house in September and moved into it gradually through the winter.&nbsp;I retired from Empire&nbsp;State College at the&nbsp;end of August. I am getting a small pension and continue to teach online courses for&nbsp;them.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I enjoyed learning about the real estate business as&nbsp;we staged our house and searched for the right place in the Adirondacks. In November I took&nbsp;a&nbsp;Real Estate Salesperson course through NYU. I took&nbsp;the&nbsp;state exam December&nbsp;1st and passed. I am associating with Chris Covert, Lic. RE Broker, at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guideboatrealty.com\" target=\"_blank\">Guide Boat Realty in Saranac Lake<\/a>. I&#8217;m looking forward&nbsp;to&nbsp;learning all&nbsp;I&nbsp;need to know about listing and selling real estate in the years to&nbsp;come. I&#8217;m hoping to leverage my&nbsp;knowledge of Adirondack history to&nbsp;discover and share the&nbsp;stories of houses,&nbsp;camps, and cabins. All dates are on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.quercusmusic.com\/concert-schedule.html\" target=\"_blank\">my calendar<\/a>. We hope to see you somewhere in person.
